The room had a breathtaking view of the Togetsukyo Bridge.
Unfortunately, the location requires multiple train transfers to Kyoto Station, which became a hassle during my stay. Additionally, for those with mobility issues, the lack of an elevator and the three steps before the lift was frustrating. I also found the dining options in the area to be quite limited, making it challenging to find satisfying meals in the evenings.

Couple's cozy escape
The staff went beyond to help us with our luggage, really made the difference. Loved waking up to a serene view of the river and the bridge right outside our window—that was worth it!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, it felt reasonable.

i nearly posted a glowing review, but the lack of non-japanese tv channels was just unforgivable. also, can you believe there was so much plastic waste everywhere? i woudl have thought a hotel of this caliber might offer me an upgrade or complimentary drink for my troubles. disappoinated is an understatement!

A Cozy and Convenient Stay in Arashiyama
Enjoyed the clean, well-equipped Economy Twin Room with a stunning river view. Helpful staff made luggage storage easy, letting us explore more. Try the nearby Italian restaurant for dinner. Would recommend for families looking for a comfortable base in a charming area.

great stay with stunning views
The staff was incredibly accommodating for English speakers! I enjoyed the spacious Economy Twin Room, featuring a unique vaulted ceiling. The location was superb, just a short walk to the beautiful Togetsukyo Bridge with breathtaking mountain views. The soothing sounds of the nearby waterway added to the serene atmosphere, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional, especially enjoyed on the patio.
Limited dining options nearby.

The cozy room had a breathtaking view of the Togetsukyo Bridge, and I loved the local rice breakfast! I also enjoyed a delightful foot massage when I needed to unwind. If I had to nitpick, the 10 AM checkout felt a little early, but the staff kindly held my luggage while I kept exploring the area. Don't forget to take advantage of the nearby bike rental for some fun! 😊

Had a fantastic time with friends at this cozy spot! We explored the nearby Togetsukyo Bridge and the local shops. The breakfast was a hit—lots of tasty items! The staff was super helpful and even gave us maps with directions. Don’t miss biking around. it's free!
I wish there were more dining options nearby. It was a bit limited in the evenings, which made it challenging to find places to eat.

Super cozy Economy Twin Room! The beds were seriously the most comfortable I've tried in Japan. Loved the fridge and microwave for snacks. Plenty of space for our luggage, which was a plus. The view from the window was amazing. Only downside? Not many dining options nearby, so plan ahead.
